TS-TRANSGENDER – it can be read on a sticker that was put by someone under the display of the Nádor street tram stop in Debrecen.
But what does that term mean?
Transgender refers to persons whose biological sex at birth is not the same as their social gender. So, based on their biological traits, they belong to a different gender than the one to which they classify themselves.
Contrary to popular belief, transgender is not a fashion trend. Such people have always been born and will certainly be born, but as their acceptance grows, more and more of them will assume an identity different from that of the majority.
