The Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office has indicted a young man who collided frontally with another car due to his negligence in the careless cause of a road accident.
The defendant obtained a license a year and a half before committing the crime, so he had little managerial experience.
On January 11, 2022, at 4 pm, the two people traveled from Kaba on the snowy, icy main road No. 4 to Püspökladány. Everyone was wearing a seat belt. As the accused progressed, due to a great deal of inattention, he crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a car. As a result of the severe collision, the two victims traveling in the car driven by the defendant, as well as the defendant himself, suffered injuries that healed in more than 8 days, while the driver of the other car also suffered some injuries.
The investigation was carried out by the Püspökladány Police Department.
The Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office brought charges against the accused of admitting the crime of negligent cause of a road accident in the Püspökladány District Court. In the indictment for the execution of the sentence, the Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office filed a motion for the district court to impose a fine on the accused and to ban him from driving road vehicles for a longer period of time.
