Having bred very successfully in the Debrecen Zoo Palm House for the past couple of years, the Zoo’s corn snakes are once again the source of great news as a total of eleven offspring hatched from their soft-shelled oblong eggs last week after two months of incubation. With four different color morphs among them, they have thrived behind the scenes at our nursery from the get-go; having completed their first shedding, they had their first-ever day-old mice earlier.
Like all other residents, the Debrecen Zoo’s corn snake hatchlings are up for symbolic adoption. If you want to make them really happy while offering us tremendous help, please consider becoming a zoo foster parent.
