A small boat on the Tisza caught fire – four passengers jumped into the water to save themselves

A small boat caught fire on the Tiszán near Tiszacsege on Monday morning, the county disaster management announced.

Its four passengers jumped into the water from the fire and were rescued from the river by those on the scene. The flames were also extinguished by those present with a powder fire extinguisher. The municipal firefighters of Ekék carried out the post-work. Four passengers of the ship were injured in the fire and were taken to the hospital by the ambulance service.
