László Papp, the mayor of Debrecen, underwent a planned operation on September 1, a bone cyst had to be removed from his left leg.
The operation was successful. Since he will not be able to walk during his recovery, he is expected to not participate in public programs in the coming week – the press service of the city municipality announced.
