The Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Department conducted proceedings against a man due to the well-founded suspicion of the commission of a misdemeanor for the negligent cause of a road accident.
According to the investigation data, the suspect was driving a car in Debrecen, on Szotyori Street on June 29, 2022. The driver of the vehicle ignored a “Stop! Priority is mandatory!” sign, drove into the intersection and collided with another car. In the traffic accident, one person was seriously injured, while one person was lightly injured.
The Debrecen police carried out the necessary procedural actions and sent the resulting documents to the competent prosecutor’s office.
The Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters would like to draw attention to the fact that accidents can be avoided by following the traffic rules, with due care and attention.
