On February 22, the Debrecen Ice Rink will join the Hungarian Skating Day program series. On this day, the Debrecen Ice Rink is preparing with a skating demonstration, experience skating, and a skill demonstration, with free admission.
After the Hungarian men’s short-track speed skating relay won Hungary’s first historic Winter Olympic gold medal in Pyeongchang on February 22, 2018, we have been celebrating Hungarian Skating Day ever since. Since then, we have celebrated skating and our champions every year, and we do not want to break this tradition this year either – the Debrecen Ice Rink informed our newspaper.
On Wednesday, free experience skating, demonstrations, fast-paced music, and a great atmosphere await those interested between 4 and 6 p.m.

16:00 – ice skating presentation with the cooperation of DSI Debrecen and the Ice Skating Association
16:20-18:00 – experience skating and games of skill
Admission is free, and skate rental is HUF 1,200/person.
