The Vocational Training Center of Debrecen awarded the students who achieved outstanding positions in this school year’s national professional, academic and sports competitions and their preparatory teachers at an award ceremony on May 2 in the hall of the Beregszászi Pál Technikum. At the event, 100 students and 57 instructors of the vocational training center were able to receive recognition, it says on the institution’s website.
Lajos Barcsa, deputy mayor of Debrecen, spoke about the city’s new strategy, the Debrecen 2030 program. At the heart of this is the city’s ability to appeal to as many talents as possible and to offer them a complete life path and career path locally. The deputy mayor reminded us that new and new jobs are announced every month, so it is very important that students have knowledge and training that meet the expectations of the labor market.
He pointed out that today’s event is proof that the Vocational Training Center in Debrecen provides not only quantitative but also quality education, since in the past period the students have achieved excellent results, also nationally, which also increases the recognition of vocational training. In summary, the deputy mayor said that 5 students of the DSZC participated in this year’s Vocational Star Festival, and 12 students were in the national finals in 8 professions, and in addition, several achieved extraordinary results in their profession and in general knowledge subjects.
