Every season has its own charm under the trees of the Big Forest, now covered in green and the sound of chirping birds, and for the joy of this, Zoo Debrecen is organizing its first Evening Walk of the year for the first time on May 10th, on the day of birds and trees.
Zoo pedagogues and animal keepers will guide the participants behind the scenes of the garden on an exclusive guided walk, which also has new features for returning guests, where the animals’ spring and evening life, as well as their love and nesting habits, will be revealed to them. Visitors can get to know first-hand the exotic feathers that move to their outer wings after their winter resting place, the newest members of the colorful parrot collection, as well as the reptiles and birds that started a family this year. They can find out which is the oldest married couple in the zoo and who maintain an intimate relationship to this day, based on which criteria the Pope-eyed penguins choose a partner, and which species and how the caretakers prepare for the upcoming wedding.
The guests of the all-evening exclusive program will be served refreshments and snacks on the Samburu panoramic terrace. Those interested can take part in the roughly three-hour unique experience on May 10th, from 7:30 p.m.
A limited number of tickets are available: 30 tickets can be purchased online in advance at a unit price of HUF 6,800, and another 10 tickets can be purchased at the venue for HUF 7,800 per person.
