The real estate market in Hungary has grown in the first quarter: every month, 35-40 percent more interested people responded to the ads on the otpotthon.hu site than in the first quarter of 2023.
According to the announcement, in the first three months of the year, most properties were advertised in Debrecen, followed by the XIII. district of the capital (Budapest), then Pécs, Kecskemét, Nyíregyháza and Szeged.
A change in real estate prices has also been registered: at the beginning of 2024, the offer price of residential real estates increased by 3.7 percent nationally based on the advertisements available on the portal. In the case of single-family houses, the sellers in Csongrád-Csanád county increased the advertising price the most, an average of 37 percent, in the first quarter in an annual comparison. The square meter price of old apartments increased the most, by 35 percent, in the Zala county .
