International Performers at the Campus Festival 2024

One of the largest summer light music and cultural events in our country, the Campus Festival is coming again between July 24 and July 28, 2024.

Rita Ora, the MTV Music Awards-winning singer soaring with over a billion streams, will grace the Campus Festival stage on Saturday night, serving as the festival’s crowning moment.

 

DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE (BEL)

The iconic DJ duo that gives you goosebumps just hearing their name. For over 10 years, they’ve been mainstays at the world’s biggest festivals, with countless performances behind them and massive crowds in front of them.

 

 

GAYLE (USA)

WEDNESDAY / JULY 24 / 22:00

Gayle, the American singer-songwriter, burst into the limelight with her hit single “abcdefu,” an anthem for betrayed and angry teenagers that dominated the airwaves last year. At just twenty years old, she draws from a wide range of emotions and experiences to create her primarily alternative pop songs. Her concerts are known for her distinctive voice, explosive guitar solos, and vibrant energy. After conquering the major cities of America, Gayle is set to win the hearts of the audience in Debrecen.

 

MARTIN SOLVEIG (FRA)

Martin Solveig, hailing from France, has conquered the main stages of the electronic music scene with his house-EDM rhythms. His famous tracks, such as “Intoxicated,” “All Day And Night,” and “Hello,” are likely on your party playlists. He is a highly respected DJ who has collaborated with renowned artists like Madonna, David Guetta, and Jax Jones.

 

MANDO DIAO (SWE)

A true sensation from the alternative-indie rock explosion of the 2010s, the Swedish band Mando Diao is known for its diversity and sensitivity to blending musical styles, allowing them to perform on major festival stages for 25 years. They view music as an inexhaustible art form, with all members playing multiple instruments, producing, and songwriting. Their most famous hit, “Dance With Somebody,” will get the Campus Festival OTP BANK Main Stage audience dancing this summer.

 

DARUDE (FIN)

SATURDAY / JULY 27 / 01:30

A standout figure in the trance-dance-house music scene, Darude made a breakthrough with his hit “Sandstorm” at the turn of the millennium. The iconic synthesizer riff still moves hands and feet worldwide. Over his more than 20-year career, the Finnish DJ has performed at the world’s largest festivals and the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. His music is characterized by tight rhythms, vibrant melodies, and easy danceability.

 

QUEEN OMEGA & THE ROYAL SOULS (TTO)

THURSDAY / JULY 25 / 21:00

Known for her natural and gritty voice, Trinidadian reggae queen Queen Omega, who many in Hungary know as Azahriah’s duet partner, arrives at the Campus Festival with her band, The Royal Souls. In 2023, she gained viral popularity with her song “No Love Dubplate,” produced by Swiss producer Little Lion Sound, amassing over 45 million views on YouTube. Queen Omega and her band liberate their audience both mentally and emotionally through their authentic Caribbean sound.

 

DANKO JONES (CAN)

Danko Jones is a trio of passionate guitar riffs, headbanging melodies, and life-affirming rock anthems. The Canadian band offers a broad selection of electric rock ‘n’ roll. Over the years, they have released numerous successful albums and toured with big names like Guns N’ Roses, Motörhead, and Volbeat.

 

RIVAL CONSOLES (UK)

SATURDAY / JULY 27 / 22:40

Ryan Lee West, known in the intelligent electronic music world as Rival Consoles, focuses on making cold electronic sounds organic and live. His latest album, “Now Is,” released in 2022, received critical and public acclaim for its melodic, acoustic sound while maintaining a sense of metamorphosis. After headlining last year’s INOTA Festival, he will take the audience on a profound journey at the Water Tower stage.

 

HEMLOCK (USA)

Hemlock, a four-member band from Las Vegas, has been actively touring since 1993, spreading groove metal energy worldwide. They place great emphasis on live concerts, providing fans with a real, explosive rock experience.

 

NATASCHA POLKE (SUI)

SATURDAY / JULY 27 / 02:00

Making her debut in Hungary, Natascha Polké, who has grown out of the Swiss underground techno culture, is now an exciting emerging DJ and producer worldwide. Known for her melancholic, sophisticated, and uplifting house music, she offers quality tracks and sets that are both danceable and melodic.

 

AXEL BOY (UK)

SATURDAY / JULY 27 / 22:00

The bad boy of bass music from Bristol will take us on a journey through deep frequencies as the international guest of the NEXT LEVEL Takeover on Saturday night, possibly incorporating the recently revived drum ‘n’ bass rhythms into his set.

 

VOLSTER (CRO)

SATURDAY / JULY 27 / 17:00

An iconic figure of the Croatian underground techno scene, Volster has been enchanted by the genre for two decades. As the driving force behind his own label and party series, he has performed in numerous European clubs, including Berlin’s Berghain, and festivals. He arrives at the Campus Festival as a guest of the Unexpected Frequencies and Technokunst teams.

 

LUCIDVOX (RUS)

FRIDAY / JULY 26 / 22:40

Four incredibly charismatic women: Alina, Nagyezsda, Galla, and Anna. Their atmospheric, psychedelic rock with a touch of mysterious Slavic folk will dominate the Great Forest, bringing dark yet uplifting sounds from the Moscow underground.

 

BRATŘI (CZE)

FRIDAY / JULY 27 / 22:40

Bratři is a duo of brothers Jiří and Ondřej from Prague. They use analog and modular synthesizers and a drum kit, with the latter responsible for crazy dance and techno rhythms and the former for memorable electronic melodies. Combined with visual backdrops, this creates the perfect recipe for a massive dance party.
