140 Years of Public Transport in Debrecen – A Tram Parade by DKV Zrt.

Since 1884, DKV Zrt. has been serving passengers. To celebrate the 140th anniversary of the company, it will open its doors and hold an open day at its Salétrom Street depot. The event is free of charge.

To facilitate easier access to the event, a shuttle tram service will run between the Nagyállomás and Salétrom Street depots during the program.

Highlights of the program include:

– Tram parade featuring all types of trams from the company’s fleet on the 1 line
– Various children’s activities
– Musical and dance stage performances
– Nostalgia special trips
– Special omnibus services
– Classic cars and motorcycles
– Historical depot tour led by Kálmán Gara
– Discovering the secrets of the maintenance hall
– Green bus display and introduction to eco-friendly technology
– Interactive exhibits and presentations from partner organizations

On Sunday, September 29, starting from 8:00 AM, trams of the “Favázas,” “Iker,” “UV,” “Bengáli,” KCSV, and CAF types will run along the Nagyállomás – Egyetem – Nagyállomás route.
