A dog jumped onto the kitchen counter, accidentally turning on the electric stove, igniting some papers left there.
The incident occurred yesterday at noon in a third-floor apartment of a residential building on István Street in Debrecen. The residents managed to extinguish the fire before the arrival of the professional firefighters from Debrecen. The unit inspected the building and then ventilated the apartment.
