The Mindszent Hava Folk Art Fair and Craft Demonstration will take place in Debrecen on October 19, 2024, at the DEMKI Tímárház—Folk Handicraft Creative House (Nagy-Gál István Street 6).
The traditional event welcomes visitors from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering folk art enthusiasts the chance to meet and purchase creations from various pottery and other artisan masters.
A highlight of the program is the fair’s opening at 1:00 PM, which also marks the official opening of the closing exhibition of the Debrecen Ceramic Pottery Symposium, where visitors can admire the finest works created by the participating masters.

– Folk culinary treats: slambuc (a traditional Hungarian dish), bread with lard, roasted pumpkin
The event’s lively atmosphere will be ensured by Gyönyörű Zsiga, a Grand Master of Folk Art, who will perform with the Bakator Band. Additional performances will include the Süveg Citerazenekar (a traditional Hungarian zither band) and members of the Csapókerti Pávakör (a folk choir), who will revive folk melodies and traditions.
