In honor of International Restart a Heart Day, the “Tree of Life” planting has become a tradition at the Debrecen Ambulance Station.
This year, once again, the tree was planted by a patient who had been successfully resuscitated and the paramedics who treated him, in the station’s outer garden.
This year’s event was particularly special because, in addition to the former patient and the ambulance crew, Dr. Ferenc Urbán, chief physician, also participated. He had persistently performed effective and professional chest compressions until the paramedics arrived.
