Due to high demand, the Hortobágy National Park has announced additional early morning crane-watching tours. On Friday, November 1st, and Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, visitors are invited to meet at 4:45 AM in Balmazújváros.
- Participation in the tours is only possible with PRIOR REGISTRATION, which can be done exclusively by filling out the FORM at the end of this article. Please carefully check your information during registration, as we will use this to contact you in case of any changes.
- A personal vehicle (standard passenger car) is required for the tours.
- We cannot accommodate groups of more than 20 people on weekends. Please inquire about weekday options through the provided contact information.
- Due to HIGH DEMAND, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
- The use of flash is PROHIBITED during the tour, and please avoid making noise.
- RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING: binoculars, camera, layered clothing, comfortable shoes, insect repellent.
- The tours will be held even in BAD WEATHER. In such cases, we recommend wearing a waterproof jacket and carrying an umbrella. Please avoid bright colors and wear clothing suitable for the field environment.
- The experience of observing nature is magical and varies from moment to moment. Please note that this is not a pre-arranged theatrical production; NATURE ITSELF IS THE DIRECTOR. Despite this, our colleagues and expert guides will do everything to ensure you have a great experience.
- This year, we will not be running any crane-watching tours on the narrow-gauge railway.
- We do not recommend bringing dogs or other pets on our crane-watching tours.
- Participants take part in the tours at their own risk.
- Tours will only start if there are at least 10 participants.
- The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program.
