The first cargo flight arrived at Debrecen International Airport on Tuesday, the airport operator Debrecen International Airport Kft. (DIA Kft.) informed MTI in a statement.
A Boeing 757 aircraft carried approximately 30 tons of e-commerce goods from China via Georgia. According to MTI, the cargo will continue its journey by road to shipping companies.
The flight is scheduled to operate four times a week between the two destinations starting next week.
DIA Kft. stated that the launch of the flight is part of a comprehensive development that began with the appointment of the company’s new CEO, Ernő Györke.
