From November 28 to December 15, 2024, the EHF Women’s Handball European Championship will be held in multiple cities, including Debrecen’s Főnix Arena.
Free Transport for Ticket Holders
Fans with valid championship tickets can travel for free on DKV trams, trolleybuses, and buses on match days.
Increased Trolleybus Services
During the group stage matches (November 28 – December 3), DKV will increase services on routes 3, 3A, 5, and 5A:
- Weekdays:
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: every 10 minutes
- 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM until the end of service: every 15 minutes
- Weekends:
- 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM until the end of service: every 15 minutes
Shuttle Service between Nagyállomás and Főnix Arena
On match days for the Hungarian team (November 28, 30, and December 2), special shuttle buses will operate:
- Before Matches: Coordinated with Intercity train arrivals from Budapest and Nyíregyháza, shuttles will depart from Nagyállomás at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.
- After Matches: Shuttles will return from the Főnix Arena stop to Nagyállomás.
