Exhibition of remote-controlled vehicle models opened in Debrecen

Local News

An interactive model exhibition has opened in Debrecen, on the -1 level of the Fórum shopping center. The remote-controlled cars will be on display until March 23.

The exhibition showcases the evolution of remote-controlled modeling, from its foundations to the latest cutting-edge technology. It presents the development of aerial modeling with assembled, fully functional airplanes, helicopters, and racing drones in various forms. A highlight of the exhibition is the “Island of Rarities,” which is a true treat even for experts in the field.

Interactive Activities for Visitors

The event offers interactive programs for visitors to enjoy. Attendees can try piloting flying devices using a simulator installed at the exhibition, with the assistance of professionals. They can experience the thrill of takeoff, control, landing—or, as beginners often do, crashing.

Visitors can also try the popular FPV (First Person View) model piloting using a live-feed camera mounted on a tank model, paired with FPV goggles for real-time video transmission.

Model Car Building Workshop for Children

With prior registration, children over the age of 10 can participate in a beginner model car-building course on pre-scheduled weekends. In a safe, supervised setting, they can experience the assembly process and get a taste of the detailed yet essential aspects of the hobby, such as assembling and fine-tuning model cars.

Registration is now open for the RC Model Car Mini Workshop! At the remote-controlled model exhibition, participants will have the chance to delve into the details of model car assembly, starting from unboxing. In small groups (maximum of 9 participants), children aged 8-16 will learn the basics of model car building, including tools, techniques, and useful tips. Fathers are also welcome to attend as companions.
