Alongside Jason Derulo, the American electropop duo The Chainsmokers, the English star singer John Newman, who brilliantly fuses funk, soul and modern pop, and the alternative rock legends The Dandy Warhols, six more international acts are strengthening this year’s Campus Festival lineup.

Campus is not only one of Debrecen’s biggest tourism-driving events but also one of Hungary’s largest popular music and cultural festivals.

After ten months of preparations and almost two weeks of construction, the 2025 festival will open its gates on 16 July. The event, which has been enjoying unbroken popularity for 17 years and now takes place across more than 21 venues, is once again expecting tens of thousands of festivalgoers this year, with advance interest as strong as in previous years. Campus is the music festival with the most Hungarian performers, with more than 250 acts expected over four days. By Sunday evening, the estimated number of cultural programs will approach one thousand.
Among the main acts, Halott Pénz and Bagossy Brothers Company will return after two years, as well as ByeAlex és a Slepp, Majka, Desh, Dzsúdló and Tankcsapda. The 30-year anniversary lineup of Ganxsta Zolee és a Kartel will also take the stage exclusively at Campus within the region.

Alongside Hungary’s festival favorites, Campus remains committed to supporting acts connected to Debrecen. The festival continues to offer a nearly complete spectrum of the Hungarian music scene without genre restrictions and upholds the tradition of featuring unique performers rarely seen on Hungarian stages. Palya Bea; Krisztián Szűcs (HS7), who arrives with his career-based concert “Krézi Srác 25”; the legendary Leukémia founded in 1986; Zuboly, blending hip-hop and folk music; and the 30-year-old Hollywoodoo are all considered special moments in Hungary’s music history.

The electronic music lineup includes more than 100 DJs and producers, ranging from mainstream to underground.

This year’s Campus preparations involve around one thousand workers, while during the festival itself this number approaches three thousand, including four hundred responsible for audience safety. In case of health issues, accidents or medical emergencies, a 24-hour medical and ambulance service operates on the festival grounds. In the air-conditioned, professional medical base, trained staff are ready to handle any cases requiring care.
