A “fault occurred” on a 200 mm diameter water pipe at the corner of Simonffy Street and Hal köz, next to the Halköz shopping center – the Debrecen Waterworks reported to the municipal news portal.
They stated that Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. began investigating the fault immediately after detecting the issue. The cul-de-sac section of Hal köz is inaccessible from Simonffy Street until the repairs are completed.
In the meantime, vehicle access to the affected area is temporarily provided from Széchenyi Street via a left turn. The restoration is expected to take approximately three weeks.
