The first week of November will start with rain and a drop in temperature, but from Tuesday onward, the weather is expected to turn calm and dry, with no precipitation. Light morning frosts will return, and daytime highs will range between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius, though areas with persistent cloud cover will remain cooler — according to the forecast by HungaroMet Zrt.
On Monday morning, cloud cover will gradually thicken in the east, then begin to break up from the west in the afternoon. The rain zone moving eastward may bring rain or showers to many areas, reaching the Tiszántúl region around midday, while precipitation will lessen from the west. The northwesterly wind will strengthen mainly over Transdanubia, with some stormy gusts expected, especially in the Bakony Mountains. Daytime highs will range between 11 and 19°C, with the higher values likely along the less cloudy eastern border region.
By Tuesday dawn, low stratus clouds may form in some eastern areas, breaking up during the day to give mostly clear, sunny weather, except for some cumulus clouds along a convergence line in the east. No precipitation is expected. Winds will be light or moderate, with morning lows between –1 and +8°C, and afternoon highs between 12 and 16°C.
On Wednesday morning, widespread fog and low clouds may form, clearing slowly in some places, followed by clear, sunny, and dry weather. The southern wind will remain mostly light but may become breezy west of the Rába River. Temperatures will range from –2 to +4°C in the morning and 12 to 17°C in the afternoon.
Thursday will bring similar conditions: fog and low clouds may develop over larger areas in the morning, clearing slowly in some eastern spots. Otherwise, sunny or partly cloudy skies are expected with no rain. Winds will stay light to moderate, becoming breezy west of the Rába. Morning lows will be –2 to +4°C, with highs between 12 and 17°C.
On Friday, widespread fog and low clouds may again develop in the morning, clearing slowly or in some places not at all. Later, the weather will be mostly sunny or partly cloudy with no precipitation. The southern wind will remain light to moderate. Temperatures will range from –2 to +5°C in the morning to 12–17°C in the afternoon, but several degrees cooler in areas where clouds persist.
The weekend — Saturday and Sunday — will bring similar weather: morning fog and low clouds that may clear slowly or persist in some areas, followed by mostly sunny, dry conditions. The southern wind will stay light to moderate. Morning temperatures will drop to –3 to +4°C, while daytime highs will generally range between 11 and 16°C, remaining cooler in overcast regions.
