To ensure the smooth running of the Debrecen Flower Carnival and its associated events, the schedules of buses, trolleybuses and trams will be modified. On Thursday, August 20, DKV Zrt. services will operate according to the public holiday timetable.
Tram line 1:
From the start of service until the carnival parade has passed, expected at around 2:00 p.m., trams will not operate on Line 1. Between 2:00 p.m. and 4:18 p.m., trams will run along the full route.
During the evening events, from 4:26 p.m. until the end of service, 1V replacement buses will operate between Nagyállomás – University – Clinical Centre – University – Nagyállomás.

From the start of service until 7:00 a.m., the trolleybuses will operate on their usual route. Between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, trolleybus 3 will follow the route of trolleybus 5 in both directions. Between 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m., services will return to the original route, while between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. they will again follow the trolleybus 5 route. From 10:00 p.m. until the end of service, trolleybuses will once again operate on their original route.
The trolleybus 3 services departing from Segner tér at 7:02 a.m. and 6:55 p.m., and from Köztemető main gate at 7:05 a.m. and 7:12 p.m., will already operate along the trolleybus 5 route.
Trolleybus 4:
From the start of service until 7:00 a.m., the trolleybuses will operate on their original route. Between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, and again between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., they will operate along the following diverted route:

On August 20, the service will operate on a diverted route in both directions throughout the entire operating period. Towards the TEVA Pharmaceutical Plant, buses will use the Baksay Sándor utca – Nagyerdei körút (towards the University) – Pallagi út diversion. Towards Nagyállomás, they will operate via Pallagi út – Nagyerdei körút (towards the University) – Hadházi út.
Bus 19:
From 7:00 a.m. until the carnival parade has passed, and from 7:00 p.m. until the end of the evening parade, buses towards Sámsoni út will use the following diverted route: Széchenyi utca – Tisza István utca – Antall József utca – Erzsébet utca – Nagyállomás – Wesselényi utca – Hajnal utca – Munkácsy Mihály utca.
The services departing from Jégcsarnok at 6:41 a.m. and 6:41 p.m. will still operate on their original route.

The services departing from Sámsoni út at 6:10 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. will still operate on their original route.

After 11:59 p.m. on August 20, the following night services will depart:
A Line 2 tram will depart from Nagyállomás at midnight towards Doberdó utca/University, followed by a Line 1 tram at 12:05 a.m.
An 18Y bus will depart from the Kistemplom stop at midnight towards Széna tér, while a 47Y bus will depart at 12:05 a.m. towards Tégláskert utca.
A combined Józsa service will depart from the Csokonai Theatre stop (towards Segner tér) at midnight, operating via Csokonai Theatre – Széchenyi utca – Nyugati utca – Böszörményi út – Route 35 – Szentgyörgyfalvi út – Sillye Gábor utca – Felsőjózsai utca – Gönczy Pál utca – Bocskai István út – Tokaji utca – Templom utca – Alsójózsai utca.
A 15Y bus will depart from the Csokonai Theatre stop (towards Burgundia utca) at midnight towards Bayk András utca.
A 3 trolleybus will depart from the Debrecen Court of Appeal stop at midnight towards Kassai út. At the same time, a 19 bus will depart towards Sámsoni út, while a 125 bus will depart at 12:05 a.m. towards Veres Péter utca via the turnaround point on Vámospércsi út.
