Cabinet is asking for support from the EU to create a charging network for electric cars in Hungary.MOL group, E.On and Hungarian subsidiary company of Nissan would like to create a charging network in the country for electrical cars. They would like to invest 1.675 million HuF in the project.
According to the press, CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) would pay 1.423 million HuF for the project and 252 million HuF would be paid from own resources. Universal chargers would be planted along European transit routes in Hungary. The distance between two chargers will be 150 km.
The investment would allow easy transition through Central and Eastern Europe by electric cars.
