Lindie Botes from South Africa decided in November, 2017 that she would learn the Hungarian language. She did not have any previous experience, but in two months time she made a great progress.She says, she did not use any textbooks, and for acquiring the Hungarian alphabet, she turned to online sources and videos found on YouTube where she also practiced the pronunciation of sounds.
She likes listening to Hungarian music and she follows the lyrics of the tracks online. Lindie also has a Hungarian friend with whom she can practice via Skype.
