Since 2001, the 16th of April is a day to remember the victims of the Holocaust in Hungary.On the 16th of April, 1944 Transcarpathian Jewish people were forced to leave their homes and live in ghettos. In only one year, more than 400,000 people were forced to live in ghettos. It began with Jewish people, but later they were followed by Gypsies, homosexual people and the enemies of the regime too…
