One Kilometer Long Painting Exhibited in Budapest

A special, one kilometer long painting of the river Danube is going to be exhibited in Budapest on the 24th of July. The artwork can be seen only for a day.WWF Hungary and its partners are trying to draw attention to the significance of Hungary’s largest river, and the importance of preserving its species both in the water and the on the river’s floodplains.

The artwork is part of an international outdoor pop-up exhibition, and it will be visible in Budapest only for one day, on the 24th of July, 2018. The one kilometer long painting can be seen on the Carl Lutz upper quay between Margit bridge and Árpád bridge in Budapest. The artwork was created by the Serbian-born painter, Ana Tudor.

The painting will be set up at 7 o’clock in the morning with the help of volunteers, and it can be seen from the sidewalk and bicycle paths between the two bridges until late afternoon.
