The Hungarian Meteorology Service has issued first-degree weather alerts for seven Hungarian counties and second-degree alert for one county because of sleet.
First-degree weather alerts were issued for the following counties: Győr-Moson-Sopron, Budapest and Pest, Bács-Kiskun, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom, Tolna and Vas.
Second-degree alert was issued for Veszprém.
