You can pick your own lavender at the 7th Lavender Harvesting Festival in Létavértes between the 29th and 30th of June. Visiting the event is free, you only have to buy a bag, and you can harvest as many lavender flowers as you can.
In the lavender field in Létavértes, there are four types of lavender from which you can choose.
Létavértes is about 25 km from Debrecen, near the Hungarian-Romanian border.
