Liszt Ferenc International’s airspace was shut down for brief periods on Monday night and Tuesday night because of drones, operator Budapest Airport said.
Take-offs and landings were suspended for 23 minutes on Monday because of drones, and a pair of drones flew around the airport for more than an hour on Tuesday, causing interruptions and a 30-minute shutdown, Budapest Airport said. Twenty-one flights were delayed as a result, it added.
