The government signed a cooperation agreement with the Sovereign Order of Malta aimed at assisting communities in crisis zones. Tristan Azbej, state secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office in charge of Hungary’s aid to persecuted Christians, said that the first cooperative programmes would be implemented in the Sub-Saharan region, in South and Central Africa, and in the Middle East.
