Miskolc is ready for Christmas. On the 1st of December, the city’s Advent Tram was launched. This is the eighth year when employees of a city transport company have created a spectacular festive vehicle for the passengers.
The tram is decorated with hundreds of meters of Christmas lights, numerous light curtains and 3D elements. The middle of the tram is the kitchen of the ginger bread cottage, and the two ends were transformed into a living room with wonderful Advent decorations.
From the first Sunday in December until the 6th of January 2020, the Advent Tram will carry passengers in Miskolc between the Tisza Railway Station and the Upper Majláth Terminal. The tram can be boarded by passengers using a valid ticket, pass or travel document.
