Vaccinations have been taking place over the past few weeks with priority given to healthcare staff and people in nursing homes. People above the age of 89 will be vaccinated in the next round.
Around 1,755,000 people in Hungary have so far registered for the coronavirus vaccination online and by mail.
Csaba Dömötör, a Prime Minister’s Office parliamentary state secretary, said in a Facebook video that those who have opted in will be kept informed of the latest developments.
The secretary noted that vaccinations have been taking place over the past few weeks with priority given to healthcare staff and people in nursing homes. People above the age of 89 will be vaccinated in the next round.
