Hungarian pharmaceutical company Béres Gyógyszergyár has donated 30,000 bottles of its flagship immune system fortifier Béres Drops to nursing homes.
The donation, with a value of over 50 million forints (EUR 140,000), will be delivered to the nursing homes by six charities, state secretary Miklós Soltész said at the handover. Béres chairman József Béres noted that although Béres Drops are “a very important dietary supplement”, they are not a substitute for social distancing, mask-wearing, medicines or Covid-19 vaccines. The donation is the fourth Béres has made during the pandemic.
