302, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, and another 6,700 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus infection, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Wednesday, highlighting that 2,011,029 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, 753,187 of whom have already received the second dose.
The government portal wrote that the number of infected people in Hungary had increased to 652,433. The number of deceased rose to 20,737 and the number of survivors to 406,935.
The number of active infections increased to 224,761. The hospital cares for 12,346 coronavirus patients, 1,492 of whom are on ventilators.
There are 55,287 people in official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 4,609,152.
