The opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) has called on the government to provide a Pfizer shot to anyone who has not gained coronavirus immunity after receiving two “Eastern” jabs.
The government should redesign the official online registration platforms to enable people in this category to register for the Pfizer jab, DK’s Erzsébet Gy. Németh, deputy mayor of Budapest, told an online press briefing on Thursday. Tens of thousands of people, mainly elderly recipients of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine, are said to have gained no immunity after getting two jabs, she said.
