There are no more deaths from the coronavirus, but another 32 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Thursday, highlighting that 5,493,609 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, 4,958,805 of whom have received the second dose of the vaccine.
The government portal wrote that the number of infected people in Hungary had increased to 808,160. The number of deaths remained unchanged at 29,992 and the number of survivors rose to 739,204.
The number of active infections is 38,964. The hospital cares for 116 patients with coronavirus, 20 of whom are on a ventilator.
1998 people are in official house quarantine, the number of samples increased to 6,138,529.
They pointed out that 5 million 452 thousand people have registered for vaccination so far and 93 percent of them have already taken it.
September 6, 2020 was the last day when no one in Hungary died while being infected with the coronavirus.
According to the map of the site, most people have been registered so far in Budapest (144,169) and Pest County (112,075). It is followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén (46,660), Győr-Moson-Sopron (44,446) and Hajdú-Bihar county (42,619). The county least affected by the infection is Tolna (17,769).
