444.hu recalculated things and came to the conclusion that if the number was real, he stabbed one every 21 minutes on average while directing Semmelweis University, performing surgeries, and also making regular statements in the media. He hasn’t been able to work every day in recent months, not least because he traveled to Tokyo, for example, during the Olympics.

The university confirmed to the portal:

“Dr. Béla Merkely, clinical rector of Semmelweis University, has given an average of 70 vaccinations daily since 26 December. He is still vaccinated almost every day and works an average of 14 to 18 hours every day of the week. It was a weekend when he gave more than a thousand vaccinations. ”

The rector said he held 15,000 on May 14 and surpassed 20,000 vaccines on August 21st. This means that he initially brought an average of another 13 minutes and later an average of 17 minutes.
