According to the forecast of the National Meteorological Service, the south wind in the south-eastern areas may increase to stormy in the morning and early afternoon hours (60-70 km / h), and then the air movement will slow down from the afternoon hours. In the areas between the Kaposvár-Balassagyarmat and Baja-Ózd lines, the amount of precipitation approaching or exceeding 10 mm, in some places even 20 mm, is most possible.
The meteorological service issued a first-instance warning for 15 counties (including Hajdú-Bihar) on Thursday due to the risk of thunderstorms:
