In addition to personal protection, vaccinating children will also help keep the whole family – including their parents and grandparents – protected, the national chief medical officer stressed in a video posted on the government’s Facebook page.
Cecília Müller put it this way: “We have reached a very important milestone” by saying that after the European Medicines Agency approved the vaccination of children aged 5-11 against the coronavirus, the process of administering them began in Hungary as well.
She drew attention to:
the fact that children are less affected by coronavirus disease was true, especially at the beginning of the epidemic in the original Wuhan tribe.
Later, however, experts say that children were increasingly affected by the mutation, she added.

The chief medical officer emphasized that vaccinating children protects not only them but also their families – their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents – and their community. “If the whole family community is protected, we are much safer than we used to be,” she said.
It is very important for the family to be able to celebrate together, said Cecília Müller, who wished everyone a family holiday in security, peace, and love.
