A government decree states that a well that takes a “downtime” beyond 48 hours in a week is temporarily required to transfer the unit to another company designated by ITM. According to nepszava.hu, so far three smaller wells have been forced to close for several days. All because they did not receive more fuel from the Mol, which could have taken them over thanks to the regulation.
This seems to have started the handover of the wells by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM). So far, only these three wells have been handed over by the ministry, but it is questionable how long the other smaller wells will be pulled.
