MVM is launching a public information campaign to help people navigate the maze of bills, the company told ATV Híradó.
According to the President of the Retired Parliament, without government support, the situation of the elderly could become hopeless:
there is a pensioner who has even thought of suicide.
In the meantime, K&H’s research also revealed that even working-age people are not prepared for unexpected expenses, more than two-thirds of employees would only be able to cover their expenses for one month if they didn’t get paid.
Many people do not understand the brutal amount of utility bills, for example, they wonder how 13 cubic meters of gas cost HUF 12,000 (approx 30 euros), and why the service provider billed HUF 154,000 (approx 382 euros) for 16 cubic meters of gas.
MVM informed ATV that all information concerning customers is available on their website, but in the coming days, they will also launch a public information campaign to help them navigate.
