The National Ambulance Service published a short but all the more striking post on its social media page on Wednesday. “Here are nine reasons why we shouldn’t buy firecrackers for New Year’s Eve,” they wrote, and they attached X-rays of 9 severely damaged wrists. In recent days, there have been constant warnings regarding the purchase and use of fireworks – and setting off firecrackers is clearly prohibited.
