The 27-year-old woman who was electrocuted on Sunday in Békés died immediately, TV2 Tények reported.
The woman and her husband were visiting relatives when the woman was electrocuted while taking a shower. Family members and paramedics tried to revive her, but they were unable to save her life.
It is not yet known what caused the fatal electric shock. The victim and her husband – who had been married only a few months ago – were about to return home from their relatives when the tragedy occurred.
The Békés County Police Headquarters has ordered an investigation and is investigating how the electric boiler used to heat the water worked.
The woman’s family was shocked by the tragedy.
