In view of Hungary’s favorable epidemiological situation, the national chief medical officer revoked her decision on mandatory mask-wearing on May 1, the National Center of Public Health (NNK) told MTI on Friday.

According to the information, from Monday, neither workers nor visitors will have to wear masks in health and social care institutions.

They added that the hospital directors can still decide on the mandatory use of masks for the hospital or certain departments within the hospital.
