27th Sziget Festival is held between the 7th and 13th of August, on the Hajógyári Island, in Budapest.
On the first day of this year’s Sziget Festival, British singer, Ed Sheeran attracted the biggest crowd at his concert. As tens of thousands of visitors arrived at the festival, some fans panicked in the crowd during Ed Sheeran’s concert. Many of them left the event.
About 60 thousand visitors listened to the British singer, several people reported that the crowd had been unbearable at the concert. Some panicked at one point and tried to leave the event, bartenders began to pull in and release people from the crowd through the counters.
Other headliners of the 27th Sziget Festival are the Foo Fighters, Twenty-One Pilots, and Florence + the Machine.
