The police caught four people and took another eighteen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Two perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and two were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Four people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There was one traffic accident that resulted in minor injuries.
Two 15 year old girls were caught eating candy in a supermarket in Debrecen. The girls ate the candy without paying, so the security guards notified the police about the situation. The perpetrators were taken to the police station and procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
A 38 year old woman and a 30 year old were caught stealing detergent in a drugstore in Debrecen. After the security guards called the police, the two perpetrators were taken to the police station, where procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
A 23 year old woman was taken to the police station of Debrecen for prostitution. She was caught at the junction of the Hadházi Út and the Kurta Utca. A procedure was initiated against her on reasonable suspicion of prostitution.
