The police caught five people and took another thirty-seven to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Three perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and two were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Three people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were two traffic accidents that resulted in minor injuries.
A 23 year old woman was caught committing prostitution on Sámsoni Út, Debrecen. The perpetrator was taken to the police station of Debrecen, where a procedure was initiated against her on reasonable suspicion of prostitution.
A 16 year old woman was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the Police Captaincy of Hajdúszobolszó. The perpetrator was taken to the police station of Debrecen and a procedure was initiated against her on reasonable suspicion of theft.
Two men were caught stealing wood from a forest near Apafa. A local resident called the police who managed to catch the two perpetrators. The 26 year old Attila M. and his partner, the 45 year old László E. were taken to the police station of Debrecen and procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
