The police caught nine people and took another forty-one to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Five perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and two others were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Three people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There was one traffic accident that resulted in serious injuries.
A 46 year old woman was caught stealing three pair of trousers in a sports store in Debrecen. After the security guard called that police, the perpetrator was taken to the police station and a procedure was initiated against her on reasonable suspicion of theft.
Two Afghan men were caught committing forbidden border crossing at the Ártánd border crossing point yesterday evening. The 25 and 18 year old perpetrators were taken to the Biharkeresztes Border Guards.
