The police caught nine people and took another nineteen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Six perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and three others were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen.
There was one traffic accident that resulted in minor injuries.
A 19 year old man was caught stealing gummy bears and two slices of pizza in a supermarket in Debrecen. After the security guard called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the police station and a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
